Education for Life

The Westcourt Centre

The Westcourt Centre is situated in the former St. Mary’s Christian Brothers Grammar School in Barrack St, Belfast. The premises have been synonymous with quality education since 1929. They are an ideal location for projects addressing disadvantage and are also available for city centre meetings and small conferences of  up to a hundred people.

Facilities include a 1200 square feet conference room  with a 4×3 metre screen and full audio visual equipment. There is also an 800 square feet board room and a multimedia computer suite. Free parking on site is available. As well as running its own programmes, the Westcourt Centre is  home to the Links Centre and the Andersonstown School of Music.

Funded, in the main, by the Congregation of Christian Brothers Northern Ireland Trust, Wescourt provides an accessible community facility with a particular focus on the needs of young people and adults who struggle with disadvantage. The Centre attracts people from all sections of community regardless of religious belief, social or ethnic background, disability, gender or political persuasion. Programmes are offered in parenting skills, drug and alcohol awareness and awareness of homelessness.
